How long from order to delivery?
All items are made to order and to the highest standards so please allow up to 14 days for delivery

Back to FAQs

Where is your chocolate from?
It is Belgian chocolate

Back to FAQs

Are your products nut-free?
Yes, but we also use marzipan, which contains almonds, in some of our chocolates so there is always the risk of cross contamination

Back to FAQs

Do your chocolates contain soya?
Yes, they contain soya lecithin. It is added during manufacture to lessen the viscosity of the liquid chocolate mass during processing

Back to FAQs

Does your chocolate contain wheat?
No, it contains no wheat products

Back to FAQs

Is your chocolate gluten free?
Yes

Back to FAQs

Is your chocolate organic?
No

Back to FAQs

Do your chocolates have natural colours and flavourings?
Some of the flavourings are natural but the colour in the strawberry, orange and lemon flavour items is not

Back to FAQs

Are your chocolates suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
Except for the plain chocolate all the products contain milk protein.
The plain chocolate contains no milk product as an ingredient but there may be traces of milk protein at the point of manufacture. As we use other chocolates with milk protein there is always the chance of cross contamination occurring

Back to FAQs

Should I keep my chocolate in the ‘fridge?
Not necessarily. Ideally a cool dry place is best. If the weather turns unseasonably hot then chocolate can be very well wrapped and put in the fridge. Not only does chocolate not like heat it also suffers from the damp conditions in a fridge so make sure it is sealed to keep out any condensation.

Back to FAQs

What is the shelf life of your chocolate?
At least 3 months and for the plain chocolate it can be up to 18 months

Back to FAQs

Do you make sugar free or diabetic chocolate?
No, all our products contain sugar

Back to FAQs

Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not at this time sorry.

Back to FAQs

Can I order products for delivery to multiple addresses?
No. You may only select one delivery address per transaction.

Delivery Information

Our chocolate deliveries are made by Royal Mail in the UK only.

Of course we process orders as soon as possible however the items are all made to order and to the highest standards so please allow up to 14 days for delivery. We would advise if sending a gift that the recipient is informed in advance to avoid any returned chocolate deliveries to us. As we use a third party for deliveries we cannot be held responsible for late chocolate deliveries due to postal strikes, transport strikes and incidents, flood, drought, civil commotion, legislation Please note there is no postal service on UK Bank holidays and they are not considered working days.

If for any reason your chocolate delivery will be knowingly late we will notify you immediately to arrange a later delivery date with the option to cancel the order.

During the summer months we reserve the right to delay despatch of orders to avoid any possible heat damage to our chocolates. You will be informed using your given contact details should this be the case.

Royal Mail delivery will usually occur between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. Monday to Saturday. If it is not possible to accept the delivery at the address given your delivery will be taken to your local sorting office to await your collection. A card will be left at the address advising of this. Your local sorting office will hold deliveries for 4-5 working days, after this period they will return any uncollected deliveries to Cocoapod. For this reason we advise that if sending as a gift the recipient is told of this to avoid any returned chocolate deliveries. Should an item be returned because of a failed collection we can not be held responsible. No refund is possible due to the unknown holding conditions & temperatures that may possibly affect the quality of the chocolate.

Many customers find it useful to have their chocolate order delivered to their work address. We will deliver to the address as you enter it on the form and cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect or incomplete. If you are not sure of the address it should be checked with Royal Mail. In the event that you select a business address, Cocoapod shall be deemed to have successfully delivered to its intended recipient by delivering it to the reception area at the business address. We regret that we are unable to accept orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box Number, or from persons placing an order whose own address contains a PO Box number.
